ABOUT THESE TERMS

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of web design services provided by Simple Day Limited ("we", "us", or "our") through welaunchwebsites.com.

By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

We provide the following services:

  • Full Stack Web Design: Custom website development and design
  • Digital Marketing: SEO optimisation and online marketing strategies
  • AI Consulting: Technology consulting and implementation
  • Website Maintenance: Ongoing support and updates
  • E-commerce Solutions: Online store development and management

PAYMENT TERMS

Standard Payment Structure:

  • 50% Payment in Advance (PIA) - Required before work commences
  • 50% on Completion - Due upon project delivery and approval

Payment is due within 7 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur additional charges and may result in suspension of services.

All prices quoted are valid for 30 days from the quote date and are subject to VAT where applicable.

PROJECT TIMELINE

Our standard project timeline is 2 weeks from the commencement of work, subject to:

  • Timely provision of all required content and materials by the client
  • Prompt feedback and approval at project milestones
  • No significant scope changes during development
  • Clear communication and response to queries within 48 hours

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation Requirements:

  • 48 hours notice required for project cancellation
  • Deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced
  • Work completed up to cancellation point will be charged at standard rates
  • Any third-party costs incurred (hosting, domains, licenses) remain client's responsibility

REVISIONS & CHANGES

Our standard service includes 3 rounds of revisions during the development process:

  • Initial design review and feedback
  • Content and functionality review
  • Final polish and minor adjustments

Additional revisions beyond the included rounds will be charged at our standard hourly rate. Major scope changes may require a new project agreement.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Ownership Rights:

  • Client Ownership: You own the final website and all custom content created for your project
  • Portfolio Rights: We retain the right to display your website in our portfolio and marketing materials with your consent
  • Third-Party Assets: Any third-party themes, plugins, or assets remain the property of their respective owners
  • Source Code: Custom development code is provided to the client upon full payment

DATA & PRIVACY

Upon project completion, client data handling options include:

  • Complete Handover: All project files and data transferred to client
  • Hosting Services: We can continue to host and maintain your website
  • Backup Services: Regular backups maintained with client consent

All client data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR requirements.

WARRANTIES & DISCLAIMERS

We warrant that:

  • Services will be performed with reasonable skill and care
  • Websites will function as specified at the time of delivery
  • We will fix any defects reported within 30 days of delivery at no charge

Disclaimer: We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings, traffic levels, or business outcomes. Results may vary based on many factors outside our control.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

We believe in resolving issues through open communication:

  • Direct Discussion: We prefer to resolve any concerns through direct communication
  • Mediation: If needed, we're open to professional mediation
  • UK Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by English law and UK courts have jurisdiction

FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, pandemics, or technical failures.

CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
